The cabin has two private bedrooms and 1-1/2 bathrooms. The Bedrooms are in the second level. Upstairs, you will find a private bedroom with a queen bed and a loft area with a queen and full size bed. Both rooms upstairs share a large, full bathroom with a tub. The cabin sleeps six guests. One of the bedrooms also has a toddler bed and we have a playpen in our home for our little guests.

 

The living room features a gas log fireplace, a flat panel television with TV as well as an extensive movie collection. All TVs in the cabin are available to watch movies or connect a game system.

 

The kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils, silverware, plates and pots.  We also have a coffeemaker, blender, toaster and a small food processor.

 

Outside you will enjoy amazing views at over 3,000 feet of elevation. The property is very secluded and is nestled on 3 acres of land.  We have a large fire-pit for keeping warm and roasting marshmallows and 2 hammocks to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air.  You can also enjoy our park-style charcoal grill and picnic table. We have plenty of chopped firewood around the property.

 

What you will find when you arrive:

 

·          Clean linens and towels for each bed and bathroom.  We ask that you bring beach towels if you plan to do any of the outdoor water activities.  Please do not remove our towels from the cabin.

·          We have some basic cleaners, a mop, a broom and a vacuum cleaner for your use.

What to bring:

·         Toilet paper

·         Paper towels

·         Garbage bags

·         Laundry detergent

·         Toiletries

·         Charcoal

·         Matches

·         Lighter fluid

·         Insect repellant

·         First aid kit

·         Flashlight

·         Beach towels for outdoor activities

·         Beach socks for water activities and hiking shoes for hiking trails

·         Walking stick for trails and a whistle in case you get lost

·         Bring a light jacket. Summer nights can get chilly.

·         If you have a telescope, it’s worth bringing it. On a clear night the sky is spectacular. We have seen tons of shooting stars.

·         Food

 

Checklist for departure:

·         Check out is at 11am

·         Turn off fireplace

·         Turn off all heaters

·         Unplug the coffee maker, blender and toaster

·         Unplug all televisions (we have lighting storms and have lost equipment before)

·         Place all used linens and towels in the downstairs hamper

·         Wash all dishes, pots, pans and utensils

·         Take all perishable foods with you

·         Empty all trash containers from the bedrooms and bathrooms

·         Take all trash with you. There is a dumpster 15 minutes away. We have directions in the cabin for you. There is no trash collection up here.

·         Lock all windows and doors

·         Flush all the toilets

·         Lock the front door and the sliding glass door
